Time Zone Converter

Pick a time in one city and see what it is in up to five others. The link updates with your choices so you can share it.

How to convert a time between two time zones

Choose the city the time is written in, enter the date and time, then add the cities you need. The converter uses the official rules for each zone, so the answer accounts for daylight saving time on the day you pick.

Results show the local date, the UTC offset, and a "+1 day" or "-1 day" label when the date changes. Use the Swap button to reverse the direction, which is handy when you have a time in one city and want to know the matching time back home.

When the conversion can be wrong

Some zones change their clocks on different dates from their neighbours. Around those dates, double-check the result. A few regions do not observe daylight saving at all, so their offset never changes. The daylight saving guide explains the most common surprises.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert a time from one city to another?

Choose the city the time is in, choose the city you want to convert to, then enter the date and time. The result card shows the matching time in the second city, with a label if the date changes.

Does the converter handle daylight saving time?

Yes. The converter uses the rules for the exact date you enter, so a conversion in March or November reflects whether each city has already changed its clocks.

Can I convert to more than one city at once?

Yes. Add up to five cities to see the same time in several places at once. Use the swap button to reverse the direction of the conversion.
